Mit dem Shuttle-Bus durchs Schneebergland – B26 ArtWeekend on the road

Am Samstag, dem 24. Mai 2025, begaben sich kunstbegeisterte Besucher:innen auf eine besondere Reise durch das Schneebergland: Der B26 Shuttle-Bus verband drei Kunsthäuser – Studio X 2732 in Höflein, Kunstraum Konrad in Puchberg und Urhof20 in Grünbach – und machte das vielfältige Programm des ArtWeekend auf erlebnisreiche Weise zugänglich.

Studio X 2732 – Höflein
Im Studio X 2732 erwartete das Publikum ein offenes Atelier, das Architektur, Skulptur und Fiber Art auf besondere Weise vereint. Zugleich wurde ein erster Einblick in die kommende Ausstellung Grenzgänger gegeben – kuratiert von Angela Stief mit Arbeiten von Elena Koneff, Vadim Kosmatschof und Stuart Veech. Die Verbindung von Naturraum, künstlerischer Forschung und architektonischem Dialog macht den Besuch dieses außergewöhnlichen Ortes zu einer bleibenden Erfahrung.

Kunstraum Konrad – Puchberg
Unter dem Titel Related to Nothing in the Dictionary, kuratiert von Titania Seidl und Stefan Schuster, präsentierte der Kunstraum Konrad eine vielfältige Gruppenausstellung junger Positionen zeitgenössischer Malerei. Zu sehen waren Werke von Livia Avianus, Sarah Bechter, Veronika Beringer, Luzie Bommert, Sophia Mairer, Vika Prokopaviciute, Lisa Slawitz und Marianne Vlaschits.
Ein besonderes Highlight war eine Arbeit von Luzie Bommert – ein auf Seide gemaltes Bild, das im nahegelegenen Fluss installiert wurde und eine poetische Verbindung zwischen Kunst und Natur herstellte.

Urhof20 – Grünbach
Im Urhof20 erwartete die Gruppe schließlich ein immersives Kunstfest: Medienkunst, Licht, Klang, Performance und Kulinarik verbanden sich zu einem sinnlichen Erlebnis zwischen Rauminstallation, Ausstellung und Tanz.
Höhepunkte waren unter anderem die Installationen von Christine Haupt, die interaktive Arbeit Time Machine RGB von Ivan Sai, die Ausstellung liminaloptimal von Dieter Puntigam, der Workshop von Oneka von Schrader, die Performance A Body to the World mit Anna Grenzner, Nùria G. Villarroya und Henrik Ajax, sowie musikalische Beiträge von Alejandro López, Rita Kulyk und AudioDevice.

Die Reise bot nicht nur eine komfortable Verbindung zwischen den Häusern, sondern auch inspirierende Gespräche, Eindrücke und Begegnungen – ein gelungenes Beispiel für den Brückenschlag zwischen ländlicher Region und internationaler Kunstpraxis.

Art on the Move – B26 Shuttle Bus through the Schneebergland

On Saturday, 24 May 2025, around 40 art lovers set out on a special journey through the Schneebergland region. The B26 shuttle bus connected three contemporary art spaces – Studio X 2732 in Höflein, Kunstraum Konrad in Puchberg, and Urhof20 in Grünbach – making the rich and diverse program of the ArtWeekend accessible in one immersive afternoon.

Studio X 2732 – Höflein
Visitors were welcomed into an open studio space that fuses architecture, sculpture, and fiber art. The tour offered a first glimpse of the upcoming exhibition Grenzgänger, curated by Angela Stief and featuring works by Elena Koneff, Vadim Kosmatschof, and Stuart Veech. The interplay of natural surroundings, artistic research, and architectural dialogue made this stop a lasting experience.

Kunstraum Konrad – Puchberg
Under the title Related to Nothing in the Dictionary, curated by Titania Seidl and Stefan Schuster, Kunstraum Konrad presented a vibrant group show of emerging voices in contemporary painting. Works by Livia Avianus, Sarah Bechter, Veronika Beringer, Luzie Bommert, Sophia Mairer, Vika Prokopaviciute, Lisa Slawitz, and Marianne Vlaschits were on view.
A highlight was a silk painting by Luzie Bommert, installed in the nearby river – a poetic fusion of art and nature.

Urhof20 – Grünbach
At Urhof20, visitors were immersed in a sensory celebration of media art, sound, light, performance, and culinary creation. The program featured installations by Christine Haupt, the interactive Time Machine RGB by Ivan Sai, the painting exhibition liminaloptimal by Dieter Puntigam, a participatory workshop with Oneka von Schrader, the performance A Body to the World by Anna Grenzner, Nùria G. Villarroya, and Henrik Ajax, and sound performances by Alejandro López, Rita Kulyk, and AudioDevice.

This shared journey not only provided a comfortable link between the venues but fostered rich exchange, artistic discovery, and community – a vibrant example of how contemporary art can flourish in rural landscapes.
