With ECHO NATURE STAGE, Kunsthaus Urhof20 continues its artistic research into resonance, body, and perception.
The two-week residency brings together Robert Steijn and Bea von Schrader (dance / choreography) with Laura Pudelek (cello) for an intensive dialogue with nature, silence, and the sounds of the site.

Each day begins with working in the surrounding landscape: listening, improvising, moving, observing. What emerges outdoors – movements, sounds, texts, sensations – returns as an echo into the space, where it is further developed and transformed. This creates a rhythmic exchange between outside and inside, nature and stage, listening and acting.

Week 1 – Residency

June 1–7, 2026

During the first week, Steijn, von Schrader, and Pudelek work as a focused trio.
The residency functions as a laboratory for listening, perception, and the interplay of movement and sound.

Saturday, 6 June 2026:
Public presentation of work-in-progress and processes.

Week 2 – Symposion

Open Working Phase (8–14 June 2026)

In the second week, ECHO NATURE STAGE opens into an artistic symposion.
Artists from various disciplines—dance, music, performance, text, theory, and visual art – are invited to participate, either for individual days or the full week.

Together, the group shapes an open Nature Stage, where body, sound, text, and landscape enter into dialogue. The focus lies on exchange, shared practice, and collective development.

Saturday, 13 June 2026:
Public presentation of the processes and encounters developed during the symposion.

The presentations are conceived not as traditional performances, but as moments of resonance – shared experiences of movement, music, text, and space.
ECHO NATURE STAGE takes place for the second time in 2026.

Following the 2025 pilot project, this year’s edition is designed as a focused residency combined with an open symposion.
