The book "15 Years of Performance Arts in Schneeberg region" is being published to mark the 100th anniversary of the celebrated cultural building. The book provides an insight into Performance Arts and how it was researched and performed at the Kunsthaus am Schneeberg from 2008 to 2023.
In addition to many images and accompanying texts, the book also contains several articles by active artists who report on their experiences in the historic building. In the art-scientific examination Magdalena Scheicher takes the 15 years of Performance Arts in the Schneeberg region as a starting point to search for the female pioneers of performance in the visual arts and dance.
