Opening Festival

The (RE)SONANT MATTER – Opening Festival launches the 2026 cultural programme at Kunsthaus Urhof20.

At the centre is an interactive installation by Christine Haupt (media artist), with sound and sonification developed by Daphne von Schrader (sound artist).

The installation is freely accessible during exhibition hours and activated through touch.

The installation is complemented by two evening performances that introduce distinct artistic positions and open up different approaches to the space.

Sunny Pfalzer – Rub your face onto your shoulder
(in collaboration with Marshall Vincent, music)

Sunny Pfalzer works internationally with performance, textiles, language, and movement.

The work explores resonance as a bodily and social experience.

tanz&tagtool – Bea von Schrader & Die.Puntigam
tanz&tagtool work at the intersection of dance, sound, and live visual drawing.

Movement, projection, light, and live camera respond directly to the installation; all sound emerges from interaction with the textiles.
