Annual Program 2026

2026 - (RE)SONANT MATTER

Annual Programme 2026

A year conceived as a space of resonance, where sound, body, image, and movement enter into dialogue. In 2026, Kunsthaus Urhof20 explores the oscillation between matter and perception, between hearing, seeing, and touching.

Through exhibitions, residencies, performances, and concerts, resonance becomes tangible as an artistic practice — a dialogue with material, space, and the world.

Program Highlights:

(RE)SONANT MATTER – Opening Festival

May 29–31 2026  – Exhibition · Installation · Performance

An immersive festival of material, sound, and movement opens the annual programme.
Christine Haupt’s installation turns touch into an instrument, while Daphne von Schrader, Sunny Pfalzer, Bea von Schrader, and Dieter Puntigam weave sound, dance, and light into a collective landscape of resonance.

ECHO NATURE STAGE – Residency

June 1–14 2026  – Dance · Sound

With Robert Steijn, Bea von Schrader, and Laura Pudelek (cello).
A choreographic and musical research project situated between nature and stage, between listening and action.
Through daily movements between outside and inside, resonance becomes a practice of perception.
Public presentations on 6 & 13 June.

TAsten, TAnz & TAgtool – Chen Mao Shuen

August 1st 2026, 8 pm  – Concert & Performance

The 13th edition of the series Pioneers of Contemporary Composition is dedicated to the Taiwanese composer Chen Mao Shuen.
Albert Mühlböck, Bea von Schrader, and Dieter Puntigam combine piano, dance, and visual projections into a poetic dialogue of sound, light, and movement.
